BRITON, EASTLICK:
Elizabeth BRITON (b.abt 1762), said of Trenton, was
married to Alexander EASTLICK (b.1741, NJ) prior to 1795 as is witnessed by their Jul 1796 baptism of
daughter Betcy in Walpack, Sussex County. Alexander was 21 years Elizabeth's senior and, likely, this was
not his first marriage. Likewise, maybe, for Elizabeth as the 1790 Census (Northampton Co., PA) showed no
children for the EASTLICK household while later censuses indicated that two young boys should have been
tallyed in 1790. This suggests that a widow Elizabeth may have brought her two boys to a marriage to a
widower Alex about 1794 and that Betcy may have been their first child together. Based on another
researcher's note, Elizabeth BRITON (BRITTON) was "from Trenton". So I need to hear of any Elizabeth born
to a BRITTON in Trenton during 1761-1762. If that doesn't work, I'll need to consider a BRITTON marrying
an Elizabeth in Trenton, about 1783, and, in conjunction, remembering that one of those "lost" boys of
1790 was born about 1785. As Alex was a veteran of the Revolutionary War, perhaps Elizabeth had a
penchant for older men and had been widowed of a militiaman named BRITTON.

in 1822 and working on it until 1829 when he moved his family there. He died there sometime between 1850
and 1860. He married Nancy ?, but she may have been a second wife. His children are as follows:
Nathaniel born October 15, 1817; William born ca. 1823/24; Daniel born ca. 1829 (just before the family
left NJ) and Thomas born ca. 1837. There were daughters as well, possibly one named Sally. Any

CONWAY, BLACK:
My great grandfather, Patrick CONWAY, declared his
intention to become a citizen of the U.S. on 25 October 1860 listing his address as Creamridge, NJ in
Mercer County. He had married Elizabeth BLACK and they had one child by that date, John CONWAY, born in
1859. Both Patrick & Elizabeth had emigrated from Ireland, he in 1855. I don't know where or when they
were married but, since they were Irish Catholics, I assumed it happened in a Catholic Church and am
hoping it happened around Creamridge. Does anyone know of a Catholic Church around Creamridge in the
middle-late 1850's and whether any data was recorded regarding birthplaces of those getting married? I
have been told that Catholic marriages were typically not recorded by public officials. I am going to
Ireland the end of May and would like to have some idea where Patrick and Elizabeth were born in Ireland.

EWING:
I am doing genealogy research on a Samuel EWING who is my
ggg-grandfather. He was born Oct. 18 1787 somewhere in New Jersey. He was married to Margaret MORFORD
and had 5 children, Samuel Jr, Robert F., Mary Ann, Joel, and Henry. Samuel's father was James EWING who
was born in Scotland and later came over to America. I do not know if Samuel had any brothers or sisters.
Perhaps one of them or Samuel himself had a connection with Ewing, New Jersy. I think that Samuel died in
Randolph, New York. I would appreciate any information you could give me on the town of Ewing to see if I
have an ancestors there. Thank you for your time.

I'm trying to track down the descendants of William Henry
JEMISON (b:c1829) and Melissa RAKE (b:c1826) for a fellow RAKE researcher. They were married in Mercer
County, NJ in 1851. Based on the 1860 census they were living in Hamiliton Twp and had two children (Amy
b:c1856 and Thomas b:May 1860). On the 1870 census for Mercer County there is a William JEMMERSON with a
wife Martha which appears to be the same family (perhaps Melissa passed on). While the census does not
list Amy it does refer to Thomas (b:1860 now age 10) and twins, Emily and Martha, :Dec 1869. I may be
wrong on this being the same family but what appears to be William's father Henry (and wife Ann) appear on
both census' either right above or below William. I've also found a Thomas JEMISON b:May 1860 in the 1880
NJ census for Trenton, Mercer Cty. which would appear to be the son. Listed with him is his wife Alfreta
b:Jan 1864 and children William (c:Aug 1883), Charles (b:Dec 1889) and twins, Earl and Nellie (b: Nov
1897). In the 1920 census there is a William and Anna JAMIESON (no children but William is the right age)
and a Charles JENISON (also the right age -- wife Helen and sons Houles and Wendal) living in Trenton,
Mercer Cty., NJ. My interest in the family revolves around Melissa RAKE. A fellow researcher was in
contact with family descendants living in Trenton, NJ in the 1960/70's who had in their possession the
family bible of Melissa RAKE's father William RAKE b:c1776 (my 4th great grand father). We are hoping to
regain contact in order to get a written copy of the family information contained in the bible (not
necessarily the bible itself -- though we wouldn't refuse). Any information anyone reading this can
provide in tracking down the current holders of this irreplaceable family item would be greatly
appreciated. Helen has been researching the RAKE family from Hunterton Cty., NJ for years and while we
(Helen and I) only have contact via snail mail and telephone I thought I'd put the wonders of the modern
world behind our search. Thanks for your help.

Need information on Perino/Perrino JORDAN, who
married Jennie STERNE on 15 June 1886 in Atlanta, Fulton, GA. In 1920 this couple, aged 53, appears on
the census of Trenton, Mercer County, NJ, with their daughter Ruth, son-in-law, Fred ROTH, and
granddaughters Catherine and Doris. Perrino JORDAN's occupation is listed as electrician with the

NJ, in the 1940s. I am compiling information on her parents, Henry and Fannie STERNE. Thanks for any
help. We sometimes have trouble with our e-mail address. It should be (lower case L).

In the 1860 census for Mercer Co. there is a George KLEINKAUF
and family listed. Wife Helene, son George Jr. born NJ 1854, daughter Anna Mery born NJ 1856, son Frank
S. born NJ 1860. They are also listed in 1870 and 1880 census. In 1900 Helene is listed as a widow living
with Anna and Frank in Trenton. George Jr is not listed. I later have Frank married and producing a son
born in Isle of Pines Cuba by the name of George. This second George died in Trenton in Sept 1972. Does
any one have mortality records for 1880-1900 that could find out when George (1.) died or marriage
records for the same period that could check George Jr or know of any descendants of this branch of the
family living today. I would be willing to pay a reasonable sum for help in these matters.

I am seeking information on Philip SMITH, born 6 March 1760
Maidenhead, [now Mercer Co.], NJ, died 1833 (date taken from settlement of estate) in Trigg Co., KY.
Family records indicate he married 10 October 1786 Terissa HERRIN. Philip SMITH served in the NJ State
Line during the Revolution War. He is known to be a relative to another veteran, Jonathan SMITH, who also
served in the NJ State Line and who also settled in Todd Co, KY, which adjoins Trigg Co., KY. Philip and
Jonathan were thought to have been residing in Culpeper Co. VA by 1795 until last entered on tax records
in 1897. Philip SMITH's son, George W. SMITH, was born 25 January 1795, Culpeper Co. VA and resided in
the Culpeper-Orange Co., VA area until his death 25 Jan. 1889. Since Philip SMITH died intestate in 1833
in KY, little mention is made of heirs in the settlement of his estate. One daughter, Clarissa Smith
THOMPSON (Mrs. Moses THOMPSON) is mentioned as is grandson Jonathan SMITH. Mrs. THOMPSON is known to have
had one heir, Mrs. Evalina PETTY, who was accepted by DAR upon application using Philip's Revolutionary
War service record. I would like to establish, if possible, a primary source link between Philip SMITH of
NJ and KY and George W. SMITH of Culpeper/Orange Co., VA. I have much primary source material which I will
exchange with those researching Philip SMITH, George W. SMITH, or Jonathan SMITH, a relative to Philip,
even tho the exact relationship is not yet known. All responses will be appreciated.

Looking for information on the WILDMANN Family in Trenton. We
believe my Grandfather, Anthony REBH and his mother Regina have some connection. Regina and Tony entered
Ellis Island in 1911-1912. We think they arrived from Austria-Hungary or Czechoslovakia. Tony survived a
fall off of the Palisades, Bergen County, in 1925 or 1926. Regina remarried a John REBH before moving to
NJ? Any information is greatly appreciated. We look forward to your replies.
