Looking for anyone doing research on the ASAY family (1700 to 1900) of Mercer and Burlington Counties. Also information on an Elizabeth LEE -- was she married to Jacobs ASAY 12 Feb 1780 Burlington, NJ.

BAKER:
I am looking for any information on my husband's grandad. He was James Irvin BAKER. He was born 11-3-1914 and died 11-6-1994. He lived in Trenton and worked (according to his death certificate) in Trenton Pottery, Trenton, Mercer Co., New Jersey. I do know he is buried in the William C Doyle Memorial Cemetery. Basically we live in the United Kingdom and want to find out more about him but do not know where to start. Any help would be greatful.

BRINSON:
BRINSON, Hannah, married about 1775 to HERRON (HERIN), Gershom, of Hopewell, now in Mercer Co. Gershom and their daughters were born in Hopewell and it is assumed that Hannah was also born there. They had three daughters named Susan, Sarah and Nancy and also a son (name unknown) and possible other children. Would appreciate any information regarding Hannah BRINSON’s parentage or family. COHEN:
Hello. I am looking for my grandparents who did live in Trenton, NJ, 1939-1940. My deceased brother and I visited them when we were 6 years old. My present age is 76. At the time of our visit, my grandparents COHEN lived in a 3 story brick single family home. I recall the home as being about 100 yards from a river(?), a curved brick wall protected you from the water. At the time of our visit, there did seem to be many famiilies of black people living in the same neighborhood. The COHEN's had three children, Mary, Tilly, and Edward. Can you find information on my grandparents? Thank you very much.

COMISKY:
I am looking for others researching my father's surname COMISKY. Unfortunately, I do not know much about him, but he did attend Trenton State College (Trenton Normal) around 1935 and became a teacher. His father's name was Thomas and his name was John Thomas. He was born in July, 1907 in Trenton to Thomas and Catherine Collender COMISKY. He had 2 sisters, Helen and Marion and 2 younger brothers; Walter and Donald. He was in WWII and died in San Francisco at a Veteran's hospital and is buried in Fallon, NV, where he retired after being the school Superintendent in a small town in Oregon.

CURRIE:
I am trying to track down my great-grandfathers' grave who I believe is buried somewhere in Trenton, New Jersey. I have exhausted all other possible roots so I thought I might give this a try. My great-grandfathers' name was James Blair CURRIE. He died at around the age of 27 in I believe around 1922. He had a brother in Trenton, New Jersey, named Thomas CURRIE whose address I have managed to trace as being: Hewitt Avenue, Wentzville, Trenton, New Jersey. Any help would be greatly appreciated. DUNN, Ernest George. Born approx. 1907; reported to have died around 1958 but no confirmation of this. Son of Raymond S. DUNN and Elizabeth YOUNG. Grandson of David T. DUNN and Lucy M. SMITH. Siblings Raymond D. (also listed as David R.), Marylin or Marland G., and Meriam or Miriam R. Address at 1920 census was 26 Beaver Street, Trenton. Address at 1930 census was 139 Prospect Street, Trenton. Married to Hilda R. ROWE about 1928, but divorced by the 1930 census. Enlisted 5/19/1942 Fort Dix, NJ, Private, Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA. He was my paternal grandfather, however, neither my father nor I ever knew him. My grandmother would not speak of him and I found nothing in her papers after she passed, as I had hoped. I would love to know what became of him--if he remarried, had other children, etc. Thank you.

GEISNER:
Seeking information on Christian GEISNER, my maternal great grandfather, regarding his death date and burial location. Listed on 1910 census as living in Trenton. His wife, Barbara, died in 1895. She is buried in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton Township. They emigrated from St. Gallen, Switzerland and arrived in New York on April 27, 1881. Barbara and Christian GEISNER had 7 children: Gotlieb, Paul, Albert(my maternal grandfather), Chris, Mary, John, and Emma. The families of Gotlieb and Chris remained in the Trenton area. Thank You!

I am looking for anyone who can give me information about my maternal grandmothers family. My grandmother is Rachel J. SHAFFER formerly HAMMELL. Her father was William HAMMELL of Trenton on either Shiller or Whitehorse Ave. and her mother’s maiden name was Jennie (Gemma) CAMMISSO daughter of Luigi and Rachel CAMMISSO. Luigi came into Ellis Island in September 1912 from a port in Naples, Italy. William HAMMELL had sisters by the name of Joyce, Maggie, Betty, and Laura and brothers Thomas, Rocky, and Charles. HAWK, McCOY:
I am trying to determine the maiden name of Mary HAWK married to Wilbur Augustus HAWK abt. 1892. Mary passed away at 31 years of age on 7 June 1903. At the time of her death, Wilbur and Mary were living at 240 Cummings Ave, Trenton, NJ. An aunt thought the maiden name might have been McCOY but was not 100% positive.

KERWOOD:
Where would they have buried Elizabeth KERWOOD about year 1782-4 at Trenton or Bordentown, New Jersey? Her son was buried in the St Michaels Church yard in Mercer, New Jersey, 24 Jan 1867. Information by the Trenton History.org Elizabeth was wife of Richard KERWOOD; he died at sea. She died as they entered United Sates or before. There was a burial place purchased for her in the estate settlement. Thank you for any information.

MORRELL, JOHNSON:
Isaac B. MORRELL b. 15 Nov 1824 in Jersey City, Hudson Co., New Jersey; d. 26 Dec 1903 in Belmont, Iroquois County, Illinois . He married Rachel JOHNSON on 09 Aug 1845 in Trenton, Mercer Co., New Jersey. She was b. about 1824, in New Jersey; d. 26 Dec 1903, Belmont Twp, Iroquois, Illinois. Their children were Joseph B., Isaac B. Jr., George Frederick, Soloman E. and Mary C. MORRELL. It appears that Joseph and Isaac B. Jr. were born in New Jersey, but the other children were born in Tippicanoe, Indiana. The family later moved to Belmont, Illinois. Looking for any information on Isaac, Rachel and the family while they resided in New Jersey and their ancestry.

PERKINS, Amelia Saunders, born 1863 in St. Peters, Worchester, England. Was listed in the 1930 census of Mercer County, NJ, as a widow with two daughters. She apparently married in England to Mr. PERKINS. Would like to find her gravesite and the name of her husband. Her daughters' names were: Ethel (born in England) and Edna (born in New Jersey). Amelia came to America in 1890, probably after the death of her mother Elizabeth. Her father Thomas immigrated in 1892.

I am trying to locate any information on my father. He was born in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey. He was born July 22, 1894. I believe his parents were, Anna FUNK and Thomas PIOTRSKI. REEVES is the surname I am searching and is probably from the Mercer Co. region. William REEVES married Catherine/ Katherine (WALTERS ?) probably in Madison, Morris Co., N.J. (address listed on US census). Marriage date likely 1909, possibly 1910. in N.J. Their first child Edith REEVES (possibly twins), was born on 21st June 1910 in N.J. If anyone knows of the exact place and date of marriage of the above mentioned couple, please let me know. If anyone knows of their children's exact baptism dates and place(s) of birth, let me know. RYAN:
I am trying to find the birth record of: Edmond Thomas RYAN. This individual perished aboard the USS Oklahoma on Dec 7th 1941 during the Pearl Harbor attack. The State of New Jersey WWII casualty listing sates: RYAN, Edmond Thomas, Yeoman 3c, USN. Guardian, Mr. Joseph E. ALLOWAY, 163 W. Hanover St. Trenton. Any help would be appreciated. Unfortunately, I do not know the birth date of Edmond Thomas RYAN, and I have been unsuccessful in obtaining enlistment documents from the Government. I am looking for any information on James L. SMITH and Anna KELLY in the Mercer County, New Jersey. I think Anna KELLY is a descendant from the Kelly Gang who used to rob banks and trains (I was told). James died December 4, 1930 and Anna married a man named George PHENEUF but I have no record anywhere of that. I do know that they ended up in Champlain, NY.

WHITAKER:
My ggg grandparents were Richard and Ellen Rosthorn WHITAKER. He was born 3 May 1769, Blackburn, Lancashire, England and died 15 March 1835, Trenton, NJ. He married Ellen ROSTHORN 24 May 1791, St. Mary the Virgin, Blackburn, Lancashire England. She was baptized St Mary the Virgin, Blackburn, England, 9 October 1771, daughter of John and Catharine (Bennot) ROSTHORN and she died Trenton Township, NJ 1825. I have not been able to find where they are buried. Does anyone have this information. Thanks.
