(1) John ROGERS [Sr.], b. about 1655-57 in England, d. 1699 in Nottingham Twsp., Burlington Co., NJ; burial: place unknown; m. 1st, 31 Oct 1680 in Burlington Monthly Meeting, Burlington Co., NJ, to Mary SCHOLEY (b. unknown, d. 20 Aug 1681; daughter of John SCHOLEY & Elizabeth FLETCHER).

John ROGERS [Sr.] m. 2nd, 16 Sep 1685 in Byberry, Philadelphia Co., PA, to Mary GROOM (b. unknown, d. 13 Feb 1693; parents unknown); they resided in Nottingham Twsp., Burlington Co. [now Mercer Co.], NJ; their children:

I have not seen primary evidence to prove that John ROGERS [Jr.]'s wife was Martha CLAYTON; however, some circumstantial evidence suggests that she was.


(3) Amos ROGERS, b. about 1729-34 in ?Windsor Twsp., Middlesex Co.?, NJ, d. 1807 in Windsor Twsp., Burlington Co., NJ; burial: place unknown; m. to Abigail FREEMAN (b. about 1747, d. after 1796; daughter of James FREEMAN & Eupheamea REYNOLDS); they resided in Windsor Twsp., Middlesex Co. [now Mercer Co.], NJ; their children:
