In some references to this family the surname is also variously spelled RANALD, RANOLD, RENOLS, RONALD, and RONEL.


(1) William RONALD (or REYNOLDS), b. unknown in place unknown (possibly in Scotland), d. about May 1709 in Freehold, Monmouth Co., NJ; m. to Helen ____; they resided in Freehold, Monmouth Co., NJ; their children:

       ii. William, b. unknown;
      iii. James, b. unknown;
       iv. Eupham, b. unknown;
        v. Jannet, b. unknown;
       vi. Rachel, b. unknown;
      vii. Helen, b. unknown;

Source #1 below, suggests that William REYNOLDS may have come from the Sterling region of Scotland.


(2) John REYNOLDS, b. unknown in place unknown, d. about 1782 in New Brunswick, Middlesex Co., NJ; his wife is unknown; they resided in New Brunswick, Middlesex Co., NJ; their children:

[#3]    i. Eupheamea, b. unknown, d. 1796, m. James FREEMAN; 
       ii. Thomas, b. unknown, d. 1782. 


(3) Eupheamea REYNOLDS, b. unknown probably in Middlesex Co., NJ, d. 1796 in South Brunswick Twsp., Middlesex Co., NJ; m. to James FREEMAN (b. 1 Nov 1719, d. about Apr 1793).
