YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK ON VINTAGE STEREOCARDS

Stereocards, also called stereoviews, stereoscopic views, or stereographs, consist of two images on a card. The cards are generally about 7 inches long. When viewed with a special viewer called a stereoscope, the images are combined into a 3-D view. Stereocards were most popular from the 1870s through the 1920s.
