JACK MOUNT'S GENEALOGY

MY KNIGHT FAMILY ANCESTRAL LINE

If anyone has information regarding the parents of Isaac KNIGHT [Sr.], please contact me.

Clues: Isaac [Sr.] received a gift of land from his grandmother Elizabeth SHORTER who came from London, England. So, Isaac [Sr.]'s parents are possibly a Mr. KNIGHT married to a Miss SHORTER, from the London area. Isaac [Sr.] might be related to a Giles KNIGHT who was a witness at Isaac's marriage. This Giles came from Gloucestershire, England. One source, without documentation, says Isaac [Sr.]'s father might be a Robert KNIGHT (possibly the Robert KNIGHT who arrived in Philadelphia in 1682 from Godmersham, Kent, England). However, the first-names Giles and Robert were not used by Isaac or his descendants; so, he may not be related to those families.
