MY COMPTON FAMILY ANCESTRAL LINE

If anyone has information regarding the parents of William COMPTON [Sr.], or the name of his wife, please contact me.

(1) William COMPTON [Sr.], b. about 1621 in England (place unknown), d. after 1683 in Gravesend, Long Island, NY; m. to wife unknown; they resided in Gravesend, Long Island, NY; their children:

[#2]    i. Mary, b. about 1642, m. 1st Thomas SEABROOK,
		2nd. Thomas WHITLOCK; 
       ii. William [Jr.], b. about 1644-45, d. 1709, m. Mary BOWNE; 
      iii. John, b. about 1662. 

I have not seen primary evidence that the Mary who married Thomas SEABROOK is the same as Mary COMPTON, daughter of William COMPTON. This relationship is based on some of the secondary sources without documentation listed below.

(3) Mary COMPTON, b. about 1642 in Gravesend, Long Island, NY; m. 1st to Thomas SEABROOK (b. unknown, d. 17 Dec 1675).
