JACK MOUNT'S GENEALOGY

MY ASHTON FAMILY ANCESTRAL LINE

If anyone has information regarding the ancestry of Mary ASHTON or any other information about her, please contact me.

A John and a Joseph ASHTON are listed in the 1778 rateables for Upper Freehold; one of them might be her father. The name Joseph was not used by her for any of her sons or by her descendants; so, John ASHTON might be a more likely candidate to be her father.

(1) Mary ASHTON, b. 25 Aug 1767 probably in Upper Freehold, Monmouth Co., NJ, d. unknown; m., 4 Nov 1795 in Upper Freehold, Monmouth Co., NJ, to John COMBS [Jr.] (b. 7 Apr 1770, d. 1842).
