Jack D. Mount

INTRODUCTION

Arizona Highways, a monthly publication of the Arizona State Department of Transportation, is circulated throughout the world and has been the pace setter for state-oriented tourist-attracting magazines. Now finishing its sixty-sixth year, its articles and high quality color photographs cover a wide range of topics about Arizona from modern cultural activities to history and natural history.

Several articles of interest to fossil collectors have appeared in Arizona Highways, most of them being about the world famous Petrified Forest. However, there have been a few articles about other interesting fossil discoveries around the State.

This index lists the titles of the articles in chronological order and gives the volume, issue number, month and year, and page numbers. Following this list is an alphabetical geographic/subject index keyed to the article titles by the numbers appearing in brackets to the left of each title.
